The Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court on 20 May 2024 announced that he was requesting the issuance of arrest warrants from the Court for Hamas leaders, Yahya Sinwar, Mohammed Diab Ibrahim Al-Masri (Deif), Ismail Haniyeh, and Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Minister of Defense Joav Galant.
